Contacted AFR about their Enforcer heads for my 93 mustang stock bottom end. The reply was that they would not work with my stock pistons. They said that I would have to fly cut them for the 202-160 valves.
Is this true????
Want to bypass the piston replacement or modification, see below...
Trick Flow claims that you don't need to fly cut pistons with their heads. However, with any head swap, clay testing the pistons for clearance needs to be part of the installation process.
Why do all these companies waste time building so many different heads with 2.02 intake valves? That means I have to do a complete engine build to use better heads.
