My question is if i buy the fr500 heads, will they fit my 96 cobra. I believe they were made for 99+, but if I buy the 99+ intake, or the fr500 intake, will it fit?

Yes they will fit your 96 and a 99-01 intake manifold will work with them. You will have to do other modifications though to make it all work.
