If I were you I'd go with DSS only because it is closer to where you live. Both are good sources for engines.

I agree on the 331. We all know Ernan is rev happy But I say it's most likely a toss between the two. Go with whoever has the better customer support.

I'd call and talk to DSS before choosing them. I recall a couple guys having issues with their engines, and I'd want to see their stance on warranties, and to try and ensure they were isolated issues, and were resolved accordingly. Either engine would probably be great though, so I'd just ask questions, and make sure to get the one with the highest quality parts. Or see what Rick91GT can do for you, to throw another one in the equation.
