Hey I'm new to the forums, and I had a question. My friend wants to sell me his 90 fox gt with a stroked 347 and TFS twisted wedge aluminum heads. He has a lot of other stuff on it but has recently replaced a lot of old oem parts with new oem. I know it has been taken care of, but will it make a good daily driver? I drive about 100 miles a day and I need something reliable. I've heard that the 302 block is generally strong but what about the increased displacement? If not then would a 331 make a good reliable engine?

If you want a reliable daily driver, do yourself a favor and don't buy a 10 year old Mustang. I love my car, but every few months something acts up.

5.0's weren't reliable when they were brand new, and they don't get better with age.

I love my Stang, but hate having to drive it every day. And I only drive 30 miles a day.
