the duramax's are a good motor and they make a ton of power dont get me wrong... you just have to do alot of work to support the power. I read into alot of online diesel forums and articles, but I made my choice based on what I've seen first hand in the real world. Living in Central Oregon, it would take at least 3 feet of snow on the ground before they would even consider shutting down school but we mostly just got delayed busses while I was in school. I have only lived in the Portland area for a little under 3 years and am 25 now. Yeah no 5hit, I live in Mass now and these fools are out in t-shirt drinking iced lattes in the middle of a 3 foot snow blizzard in january. To add to that, my family is hardcore. We barbeque in the snow storms when we had them. I miss living in Bend, but there is nothing there for me other than family. I used to walk to school in shorts and a t-shirt in 2-3 feet of snow. It's funny being up here and seeing people whine about it being "cold". Gentlemen, I'm not looking for a fast ride.
