Daily Driving Without a Sway Bar?

i think you guys are in the wrong thread. the strut tower brace (which is what you see above the stock gt intake) has nothing to do with the sway bar (which is under the engine).

I was just about to say that, the STB and sway bar are emensely diffrent. Driving w/ the STB off is no big deal at all you wont even notice it, but taking off the sway bar can effect the car alot, see some of the above posts. My STB is currently off b/c I plan on doing some mods in by the end of the month and I dont want to take it on and off alot b/c I just painted it over the winter and it looks pretty good.

I wouldn't think that 17 pounds would make that much of a difference in weight transfer? Does it change the suspension geometry? How long does it take to get it off?

Hey every pound counts! Especially off the FRONT end.

It allows the right side, and left side of the suspension to kinda "act" on there own. There is a HUGE difference without it, it pulls the front up so much easier.

zach, i figured you knew what you were talking about, but it was apparent that urban96 didn't know the difference. i saw what you've done to your car; i didn't think you could have done all that w/o knowing the difference between the two! :rlaugh:
