Ok guys during my upper and lower contorl arm install (hell of a job by yourself) I managed to remove the top layer of rubber on the rubber break line that runs from the underbody to the top of the punkin, then branches off via hardlines to the left and right drums. There seems to be a fiberous layer beneath the rubber coating and I did not seem to have penetrated the fiberous layer...there is no leaking or signs that I have breached the line. My question is should I replace the line, or will it hold up..I'm not familiar with the pressure this line experiences, and don't know how strong it is.

Its really pretty easy, There are some self bleeding kits out there but Ive always found it easiest to have a bud pressing the pedal inside the car while you man the hose. Always start from the wheel farthest away from the MC and work your way to the closest wheel. Basically you have a hose that hooks on the bleeder valve on the drum/caliper and you can open and close this hose. Open the hose and have the person inside the car pump the brakes til you dont see any more air bubbles. Make sure to keep the MC full or you will have to start all over again. It might be a good idea to get a general brake guide book. Those things come in really handy and have different types of brakes from all models.

Actually upon close inspection..the line is actually shrouded by rubber, but braided underneath..feel a little better about keeping the line in place, am I wrong?

If you ever saw how a rubber brake line swells up during heavy braking, you wouldn't feel better.

Replace it.
