Well my ABS light comes and goes every day. I recently changed the pads about 1-2k miles ago. I noticed I am a little low on brake fluid. Could that cause the problem? Here is the weird thing; inside the master cyl the brake fluid looks uneven. Almost like the master cyl is crooked. So I don't know what the hell is going on. Maybe that means there is air in the system? I really don't want to pay the dealership money to diagnose the ABS module. Is there any way I can check the speed sensors myself? Any one have a picture of one? Please help!

you can find the wheel speed sensors by following the abs wires down to them.

first thing you can do is check to see if they are dirty or if the trigger wheels are damaged.

If you find nothing there then you have to go to the dealer and pull the codes and have somebody diag the system for you. Some problems a code can take all the guess work out of it, but others you need to follow pinpoint tests. If you can get me the code then I can help you out, but you will have to find somebody with a real scan tool. The autozone ones will not read ABS or any body modules.
