So i was heading into the new Target in smokey point and went over their unusually high speed bump. i heard a grind, and then my exhaust got REALLY loud. Yea it tore one of my flow tubes out from the muffler. the kit is jsut clamped and i had the clamps facing down. After a nice rumbly ride home i tore most of it off, re clamped everything, turned the clamps sideways and re tightened it all. It all good now, but christ i think some of these places go OVERKILL with the speed bumps. Just thought i'd share LOL Rant over mm

I went with clamps for a while, but I thought ahead the first time and turned them sideways to begin with. The problem I had was every time I would do a burnout the pipes would pull apart from the torque of the engine. There's nothing worse than doing a burnout up the street to show off your car to your chevy friends, and then have it fall apart. I'm all welded now.

Clamps suck!

Yep, on our old road they had high composite bumps put in... I had to lower them to get the Mustang through by melting them down with my Ranger.

We had the city put a speed bump on our street. It's a joke. I wanted a bump that would jar their teeth out not a fun bump.
