Dang Longtubes

Well I just recently purchased a set of BBK Full Length Headers and when I went to try to install them they hit everything, they hit the steering rod,bottom of the AOD transmission, the shifter cable, I beated on them with a hammer hoping that that would make it fit but still didnt. Is there something I dont know like do they make a longtube header for just AOD Transmissions? Well anyway I just lost 250.00 because I cant send the headers back.

BBK longtubes don't fit AOD's... says it right on the package if I remember right (5 speed only). I'd do a 5 speed swap before putting longtubes on a AOD car, been there, done that...

BBK does not make a longtube header that fits with an AOD tranny. Been there done that. Try to sell them. It's your only option.

Man I knew I should of asked around the forums before I bought them, man this sucks because now I have to order some shorty headers.

Oh and one more question, I wonder if they will fit with a C4 under there because the C4 dosent have the big pan like the AOD.
