So my newly acquired hatch has squeaks and rattles that are driving me crazy. I noticed that the bone head i bought the car from did something to the dash instrument console and it doesn't have any of the screws in it to hold it to the main dash hull. Anyone have a diagram or an idea of how i can get the whole plastic console to stay put against the main dash?

Also, someone posted a parts diagram of a whole fox body here a while back that shows all the basic parts on the whole car in kind of an "exploded view" type drawing.....anyone know where to find that?

thanks...

The Instrument gauge cluster itself, has (i think) 6 (maybe 8) torquex screws, and the bezel (thing that holds light switches) has 2 up on top, by the window, and 2 underneath that go to the dash frame.
Unless some of the holes or ears have broken off, it shouldn't be hard to tighten or replace those screws. They should be #8 or #10s.
If it squeaks and everything is there and tight. take some double sided tape, and put it on the inside of the ears, then tighten the screws. The kind of trim tape, thats spongey. will act like a shock absorber.
