My 90 convert lost dash lights this week. No tail lights power trunk, or cruse. checked fuses go tail lights now but still no cruse, trunk or dash lights. the fuse blows as soon as you turn key. any ideas?????

check fuse 6, instrument illumination, a/c heater, trunk lid release, speed control

Is there a way to test the dimmer switch as I think this may be the problem?

How about bypassing the switch? Who dims the lights any way?
