The other day, my fuse blew out for the dimmer switch. When this happened, all my dash lights quit working (gauge cluster, HVAC lights, Traction control, Rear defrost, fog lights). Well I just went and replaced the fuse. Well, I had the key out of the ignition and flipped on the lights to make sure they were working. I turn on the switch and the dinger starts going off, but none of the lights come on, then the dinger goes off. The fuse didnt blow again and the lights are still not working.

Also, the dome light is not working at all. I can turn the dimmer switch all the way to the left and click it over to turn it on and it does not work, and when the door is open it does not work. The door dinger DOES work if the key is in the ignition with the door open.

Any thoughts?????

I am assuming the fuse is F2.37.

The GEM controls all of the functions mentioned. The door switch no longer turns on the dome light. It signals the GEM that the door is open. It's the GEM that decides to turn on the dome light.

I suspect that the GEM or the cluster has been damaged. If pulled, evidence may be found.

What exactly is the GEM and where is it located? Also, another thing I noticed, the tail lights and the license plate lamp are not working either.

Need to be more specific. Parking lights or brake lights? If brake lights, does the 3rd light work or not?

Assuming it's the parking lights, double check fuse F2.19 and F1.10.

Assuming that all fuses are good, the common failure point is the light switch. Suggest pulling and inspecting it. Look for evidence of overheating.

Parking Lights. I pulled the headlight switch and it looked just fine. I dont relly see how the headlight switch could me messed up if the headlights them selves are still turning on, but nothing else is working.
