Hello everyone, I’m doing a complete rebuild on my ‘89 mustang gt. I pulled my dash harness as it’s in rough shape and well molested. I previously bought the Ron Francis engine harness, and can’t seem to find the equivalent to a dash harness. Any recommendations on what to do or if there’s an aftermarket option. I don’t need much besides factory cluster plugs and lighting controls.

Well what are you building, race car, street car?

It’s a bare bones drag,street car. I don’t need any of the a/c, heat, cruise control, egr or other extremities. And I don’t have any pics there’s just a lot of random splicing and tap-ins and multiple splices on the same wire to a single plug. Just seems very likely to fail if not “cobjobbed” back the way it was.

Stock instruments or aftermarket gauges?
Thought about a racepack gauge setup?

Here's my advice since the wiring is out and fubar by description,
Get a big peg board or similar, lay the old harness out pining the needed wires separately and rewire as necessary incorporating the new gauges.
