For those of you, who don’t know, go here for details on what I’m doing.

http://forums.stangnet.com/showthread.php?t=489041

Well today went well, I’ve removed the exhaust manifolds, exhaust, steering, and that fmx.

I have the rack in place, but it’ll come back put when I put the headers on tomorrow.

I’m still not sure what to do about the shifter. Right now I’m trying to modify the original 89 shifter to work, but it’s not working out to well for me. I need a good pic of the shifter from Windsor fox. I tried to order it, but it’s back-ordered.

Tomorrow I’m gonna install the Headman Shorties using the Breslin fasteners and copper gaskets.

Wish me luck tomorrow, I have till Saturday morning to finish.

I got my 2 50 series Flowmasters, Breslin fasteners, and my Lokar throttle cable in the mail today, I was getting kind of worried; I bought them a week ago.

Nice job today... it's nice to have access to a lift right? I know we'd kill for one sometimes.

BTW, I posted a pic on another AOD thread, but you might have missed it... it's a pic of the '65-'66 shifter adapter rod (top of photo), and is very very similar to the one for the '69-'70 one I used. In fact, it's close enough I couldn't tell you the difference from looking at it. Anyway, here is the pic: http://groups.msn.com/DBsMustang/misclaneous.msnw?action=ShowPhoto&PhotoID=64

Hope this helps...

Hey Eric, I have to take the Mountaineer in to get looked by the insurance adjuster today (I'll explain another time). If you need anything give me a call. And I'm not planning on going anywhere tomorrow.
