DC Controller

I have installed the controler and works great. I was wondering since I have removed my A/C could I still use the existing wires of the harness. There's a blue wire that comes off the controller for the A/C and the instructions state that you tie into the compressor input wire, the wires are still there but no compressor. Can this be done???

Yes, but why would you want to if the compressor is no longer there? It serves no purpose. Maybe you could wire it up to something else that would require a bit extra cooling when turned on. Though I can't think of anything at the moment.

I just wanted to have a way to turn it on if need be. Last resort kind of thing.

i would say it just needs to see voltage as a reference to tell the fan to run on high, so you could just run a separate switch to that wire, so when you flip that switch you get the extra cooling that you want

This is true except that the D.C. does not have a 'high'. Doing this would create the extra [minimum] 50% duty cycle which the AC input commands.
