DCCONTROL.COM Who has ordered from there?

Yeah buddy...Brian is very buisy right now and often does not return emails unless they are technical problems regarding his units...then he'll have an answer to attempt to help ya withing minutes. I waited 4-5 weeks for delivery but I can say it was more than worth the wait, the FK unit was a cake install and does it's job in amaizing fashion.

Yep, he usually doesn't get back to your right away. I sent a technical question about 3 weeks ago and haven't got an answer yet... but I know he's very busy. Order straight from him, and not a supplier.. I got burned that way.

His stuff is top quality, worth the wait. He stands behind the parts if ever any trouble.
I believe you but if i were having a problem with his parts, he still wouldn't be returning my emails.

You cant even find a number to call

Not to start an argument with anyone..but from what I've seen, he's a one man show building a quality product competing with big money-backed companies. He's doing his best, cut him a break. Knowing that it will take a while to get your product ahead of time is not a problem with me. I would wait if I were in the market for one of his controllers. I'm all about supporting the "mom-n-pop" shops over money hungry corporations.

Patience my friend....patience...

Great he is the best, he's gawd. Just be clear when your about to buy it.

Im a business man when I spend money i want everything to be upfront.

Advance Discount Auto parts has a $26.96, non adjustable
controller with 30 amp relay. Ask for an Imperial P/N 226206 .

It would make a good emergency replacement or short
term substitute.

thank you very much Richker, ill go buy that today

Took ~7 weeks and 2 unreplied to (to this date) emails to get my dccontrol unit, and I had to redo all the connections because they were just crimped, not soldered

The unit itself is great and works like a charm, but don't expect to ever get a reply. Poor business practices for sure

I need to order one of these controllers, but threads like this spook me a little. Having a one-man operation is tough (I know, as I have a 2 man operation!), but communication is critical.

I'm still buying one, and my "hurry" will just have to "wait" now. So it goes with the stang...

88GT is right, a good product is often worth the wait.

I know a couple guys who have mustang spefic business. I fully understand the amount of work there is to do. I also know the restraints of hiring people and everything that goes along with running a business. Most of these guys are just hard working entrepreneurs trying to make a good life while doing what they enjoy.

He seems like one of these guys, Having ambition is something that you cant buy or make. So my hats off and I have no problem ordering anything from a guy like that.

I do agree he could be a better communicator, but nothings perfect

I might just put a toggle on it (along with the other million under my dash)

I sent numerous email, no response.
There's no ph# on his website.
I cant do business this way, I have questions that need to be answered before I place an order.
I support mom and pop operations as often as I can, especially if they are top quality parts, which from the responses I see he offers a great product.
an email response, to steer me in the right direction, or to tell me we're really busy right now, it will take a little while to get you your order, would be understandable and worth the wait. But there's nothing worse than being left in the dark.
If he's not ready to sell or deal with customers, maybe he shouldn't advertise until he's ready, I dont know.
dont get me wrong, I would really love to run his products, but not if im left in the dark for a few weeks, not knowing my order went through,

I hope he can get ahead and get caught up with his products and customer service, I'd love to run his products.

"IF YOU BUILT IT, HE WILL COME"

I bought a WP unit last winter and I emailed him with lots of questions before I ever bought one because I was using an electric fan and electric water pump, and he got right back to me with all my questions and emails and was very helpful. It did take about 3 weeks for me to get the unit after I ordered it.
