This weekend I was trolling my local Craigslist and came across a deal I couldn't pass up. GT40 tubular upper and lower intake with the plaque, 70mm bbk throttle body and egr plate for a 125 bucks. Totally worth the two hour round trip. I would like to use them both, so I am now looking for a set of GT40 heads. My question is, should I upgrade my MAF, injectors and fuel pump? If I upgrade my MAF, can I get one to work with my stock air box? What size MAF, injectors and pump would you recommend? I

If your doing a GT40 heads and intake with a mild cam like TFS Stage 1 or E303 your 19 pound injectors should be fine. Bigger MAF can gain some HP as well as a stock air box with a K&N filter. An upgraded fuel pump isnt a bad idea.

I probably should have mentioned that the car has an E cam, shorties O/R H pipe, Mac cat back, and 3.73's. I was afraid you were gonna mention the fuel pump, I just replaced it two months ago with a stock one, oh well

Word: I that stuff is in nice shape, you could probably get close to $700 for it on eBay. The intakes routinely go for $500+ and the cover plates are crazy expensive. I've seen them go for upwards of $200.

I'm just sayin'...

Yeah, I know. I'm kinda torn. There were three others for sale on there, one guy wanted 400 for just the Upper. This stuff is in great shape, the Throttle body looks almost new. The Lower is a bit dirty, but my friend is gonna bead blast the upper, lower and the plaque for me. Thinking of getting the upper and the plaque powder coated.
