I own a very mildly modified 2003 GT and am wondering what I should do next. My main goal is performance and handling. It is my daily driver and I do travel on the interstate very frequently. Should I go n/a, with new heads and intake, throttle body, longtubes and such, supercharge or turbocharge? I am a college student with not alot of money, but am working hard to be able to modify my pony. So far all I have is a K&N and Mac Catback. I would like to pull 350-400 RWHP. PLEASE HELP!

If you want 350-400rwhp, you're going to have a hell of a(n expensive) time accomplishing that if you go n/a. Most here will tell you that the most cost effective way of making hp would be a nitrous system and be done with it. The better (in my opinion) but more expensive route would be to supercharge. I say supercharge because there are very few solid turbo kits out there compared to superchargers, not even considering price. (I believe turbo kits cost more, but I'm no turbo expert ) If I were you and you had your 350-400 rwhp goal, I'd save for a Kenne Bell blower and be done with it. But remember, your stock internals won't hold up much longer past 400hp, so if you decide to push it, you're going to have to go forged. Either way, good luck

I say try going N/A first. and save up for some engine work like P&P instead of getting new heads. and when all of the N/A stuff you want is done, SUPERCHARGE. Thats what im trying to do to my car

I think he has a mac catback and k&n. Good luck with a tight budget. Get some gears and exhaust and enjoy

You're in the same boat I am brother! I've got two vehicle payments and a bunch of other ***** to pay! I'm hoping to pay off my Dodge pickup soon, and start working on my GT. Its just tough because my friend at work has one of them goofy EVO's and I want so bad to spank that POS! Nothing for nothing, but he paid over 30k for his car..I just bought my GT for 11,500. But still...V8, American Pony....4cyl. Turbo charged Japanese-Crap....its only right that the pony wins!!
