I ordered the wheels today. 17x9 & 10.5 with 275's & 315's Sumitomos mounted & balanced for $980 shipped.... Killer deal imo & I got the 1st set in California.... Cant wait till they get here next friday!!!!

I'm not really feelin' those DD '03s, i actually thought they were ZR1 wheels.

I was with you on the ZR-1 replica statement till I looked them up again. ZR-1's are way more rounded:



If they get the spoke width down, I may have to look at getting a machined set next spring. I think they look different enough to be unique.

If thats the ZR1 wheel, those look nothing like the 03 Cobra replicas....

It doesnt really bother me that they dont look exactly like the 03 Cobras, they still look sick!!!

I checked yesterday on their site and it didn't have them listed under deep dish rims. It is American Muscle right? Where on their site are they? Are you getting chrome or black EPIK?

HOLD ON. I was looking at the svtperformance site and it looks like those are two different rims. The ones that everyone is saying have too thin of spokes are supposedly wheel replicas. The ones that people are saying "they should look like" have American Muscle's name on the picture. Hmm.....now I'm confused as to who is making these two different versions.

Only wheel replicas are producing them right now. Look under wheel specials on there site.black is the only color they have so far. As far as I know the american muscle photo might be a photo chop that someone did???

I think its cool that people dont like em much, because its gonna make them more exclusive & rare. Like someone else said, if they werent advertising these as "03 Cobra replicas", people would be lovin em.... So what if the spokes are a little bit thinner than the Cobras, they still look sick....

There are some for sale locally for cheap actually (like $400)

They are working on correcting the spoke design. the angle and thickness were off which affected the entire look of the rim. the thread on svtperf. had a cad rendering of what it should look like, and it looks way better however their casting is messed up. whoever is making them was saying it will be 99% close to the originals, just with a deep dish and different offset.

Thats cool...Well Im sure everyone will have those ones, so I will be on of the few people who have these, so they will be rare.

HAHA!!!! The FR's aint goin anywhere...Theses dd Cobra's are going on the 95 GT, so the 95 Cobra's will be 4 sale soon....I do have a local guy thats kinda interested in pickin them up though...
