Hey guys, Im in the middle of my h/c/i swap and I basically just pulled the AC and the condenser out and all the lines, same with the smog pump, what else should I be doing to properly delete these 2 things? I have the TFS a/c delete along with the proper belt I will need.

Thanks

I'd say just make sure you get the right belt. It sounds like you've got a good handle on it.

I haven't done the deletes, but I think the lines going into the firewall from AC, and I have no clue on the smog stuff.

With my FMS A/C delete kit and NO smog pump the belt size was "70.5 gatorback.

I did not plug the leftover smog lines.

I pulled all of the smog lines and the tube on the back of the heads and plugged the holes.I haven't had any problems.I had to use a 73.5 inch belt.I wonder what the disserence between mine and others is.As far as the hole left in my firewall,I got a piece of aluminum plate, cut out a cool looking panel, drilled 4 countersunk holes, added a fake Ford part number and painted it then put it on.I've had a few people ask where they could buy the part.I told them it's obsolete now.

haha nice vinne...

Why does the holes leading into the firewall from the AC need to be plugged? Just curious.

Also, can the black canister thing be removed as well on the passanger side in front of the tire? I assume thats the charcole canister from the smog system?
