I got my car back yesterday night. It turned out to be the IAC. Reason why I thought and said it wasnt was because i swapped the IAC from the 98GT to the 03GT to see if it would fix the problem. Turned out they are a bit different 96-01, 01-04. I picked up a new one from Ford for about 73 bucks. so, all is well now.
