I have had my full-length Densecharger installed for about 6 months now without any problems except for the fact that my filter gets dirty very quickly in the fenderwell. So, today I decided to modify the Densecharger so the filter stays in the engine compartment like the K&N FIPK. I drove around with this new setup for about 20 minutes then shut it off. About 4 hours later, I came back out and drove a couple of miles and the SES light came on. I stopped and checked all my connections then started the car up again and the light was still on. When I got home, I took it all back apart and everything was fine, but the SES light is still on. Autozone is closed so I can't get the car scanned to see what code is thrown. So, now I am resetting the computer to see if that fixes the problem. Could modifying the Densecharger cause any problems with my A/F Ratio? Any other suggestions as to what the problem might be would be greatly appreciated.
