I brought the thread back up cause i found the slip and i actually cut a 1.88

got there around 9 and parked it to let her cool.

I havent been to the track since like march so i thought i would be a little rusty.

I launched softly and cut a 1.92 (brand new nittos at 18 psi)

I didnt spin off the line, i actually bogged a little , but boy did it spin ever gear shift. for about 1 second in every gear. even 4th i was shifting softly

here is the result of my one good pass.

1.88
8.4 @ 83.X
13.12 @ 106.33

I am stoked about the trap. as this is all i was looking for on the new nittos.
the ET comes with the better tires i have in the living room.

the next run i blazed the tires getting greedy was sideways all the way through 1st and ran a 13.2 on a 2.02 60. yes i just had to stay in it.

this is all the mods in the sig, except i now have a typhoon intake and prostars 3.5s and 10s with nittos. stock heads with your basic boltons.

I cant wait for the REAL mods..... longtubes prochamber and other things....

Honeslty i am amazed with the trap speed. Its so hot; 90 degrees and 60 percent humidity right now!

When I go to the track and the guy next to me spins into 4th gear, I get pretty pissed about that. You definately need to spend some money putting that power down, just for safety reasons alone.

Spinning tires going 75mph is no good.

nahy this is just my street tires pass i am limited to 1.8 60s. with my light ass rear.

I might go put on the new rear drag springs and front coilovers today though.

the et streets or drags is when i go for the ET. trap is important to see how fast the car actually is to me

I am thinking about just concealing the weight of my car now so people dont downplay my success

i know how to drive, i know how to go fast. some peopel just dont grasp those things. That is why i did not list my weight last night in this thread.

Atta boy ! Ya know, it's funny you should mention sleep. I haven't been sleeping well at all lately. You may have just cured me by letting me know that.

I was just being sarcastic with my weight comment.

Damn...you picked up 23.1mph from the 1/8th mark to the 1/4...that is moving. I don't know if I'm even mowing down the topend that fast.

As for your trap though, it's impressive with stock heads...very impressive. Guy on Corral named DarkPony had an old setup that was the only other stock headed combo that impressed me like that...of course he had stock cam too I'm pretty sure.
