This is my 1996 Grand Prix GTP that I recently acquired for a daily driver/winter beater. This car was in rough shape with bad water spots and swirls. I bought a Chicago Electric rotary polisher recently and this was my first time using it. I was quite impressed by the speed in which I was able to correct the paint. In the past I have used the PC 7424 and it would have taken me much longer to do this level of correction.

The car was washed with Meguires Gold Class, wheels cleaned with Armor All wheel cleaner, glass cleaned with Invisible Glass, and tires dressed with Armor All tire foam.

Paint Correction:
Meguiars clay with meg's QD
Menzerna Power Gloss via rotary and wool pad
Pinnacle XMT Fine Swirl Remover via rotary and white polishing pad
Meguiars NXT Tech Wax

i have always really liked that body style of grand prix the most. car looks good.

Yea that body style was always one of the better ones.

I agree, I really like the body style of these GP's. It also seats 4 adults comfortably which is unusual for a 2 door made within the last 20 years and has the heads up display.

Does it have the 24v 3.4?

It sure does and seems to do pretty well with gas mileage... I get about 23 mpg with about 30% hwy and 70% city, which I dont think is bad for a car with 160K miles. It has some decent get up and go, but it seems like the 4 speed GM auto really hurts it. These cars desperately need a 5 or 6 speed trans.
