well, at least i thinks it's an exhaust leak. it'll make a small ticking noise but only when im more the half throttle, otherwise it's silent. i'd like to say i thiink it's on the drivers side but that really could just be the fact that im in the drivers seat lol.

any tips on finding this thing when i start looking this weekend.

Easiest thing to do is put it on a lift if you have access to one and tighten everything.

Shove something up the tailpipe to increase backpressure and the ticking should get louder

if its up near the engine around the header, take like a 3' section of 3/8 vac tube and put one end up to your ear and take the other end all around the headers you will be able to hear the exhaust leak.

+1!!! or buy a real stethescope, they work pretty darn good, and are available at most automotive part stores

also, maybe put on a lab coat you have laying around the house, and pretend you're a doctor while you do it! might impress the old lady at the same time!

i did that once (when she was sleeping), the increase in ticking was just my heart-rate, due to the punch in the face!

thats funny lucky she didn't try to return the favor why you were sleeping, on another note the foot over the tailpipe actually works well if you have nothing else!
