Detroit Area Mustang guys

Jo... we hit up Gratiot occasionally, but it's a bit of a drive.
Jim... Yea, 50 WAS where we used to meet, however, the cops started breaking it up cause of a few rotten apples. The Donut shop is right across from Randazzos where me usually meet but the Donut Lot is too small for the crowd we get (usually between 50 and 200 depending on the weather) Majority of the guys are between around 18 and 19 like me, however we've got the young and old 16 - 50?? All in all a great time! Hope to see you all the Spring!

The donot shop is located where exactly? telegraph and 94 is close to the airport if I'm not mistaken right? b/c i remember passing telegraph exit on my way to school (EMU) Hopefully i'll see u guys in the summer when motor/trans winter project is finished.

Donut Shop is North of Ford rd. off of Tele close to West Chicago if I'm not mistaken. I go to EMU as well... hope to see ya around and good luck w/ the winter project. (Don't suppose you know newhere to get a gear job around here for chepaer than what Livernoise chares $250 ??)

I am from down south in little Adrian. It is about an hour from telegraph. I will prob be up in the dearborn heights area a couple times this summer.

Actually I went there my freshman year but transfered to WSU. Just a little closer to home (Clinton Township). But I dont know where to get gears done either. I have a f-body friend that knows a person that use to work at DTS (drivetrain Specialist) and he charges only labor I';ll get the rest of the info and post back. He does it at his house. He quit b/c they dont honor their work. If there is something work with the install they wont fix.

JO, a buddy of mine has gotten his gear done by DTS twice now... 3.73 and then 4.10. It's just a lil rough on my budget. To be honest, I don't know any shops that will fix a gear install they do because it's an "aftermarket part"
Hope to hear from ya about your buddy though... it's tough on the budget being a college student and a mustang lover!

More snow today. Oh well.

On a brighter note, I got my longtubes installed and my tubular k bolted up. Anybody know how to check it for square? And how to square it if it's off?

Just trying to keep the thread on top.

Well in the summer my gang all hangs out at gratiot til about midnight, then we all hit Randazzos on telegraph. Theres usually at least 10 of us with mustangs. Any of you guys interested in hanging with us are more then welcome.

Ive got a bunch of new goodies for my car this last week. I got Eibach drag spring set, strange engineering adjustable struts, strange engineering 50/50 shocks for the back, Steeda Adjustable upper rear control arms, Steeda hardcore lower control arms, the boost pipe for my blower, 3.73 gear and Febuary 15th its going to Mailloux Chassis in Windsor for an 8 point roll bar. Now I just have to get the motivation to get out to the garage to put it all together. I bought myself a trailer last week too. Cant wait to take my car someplace on it to race!

11.90s easy this year!

When me and my buddie go criusing there's about 4-5 stangs on the corner of masonic on gratiot by that pizziera, across from the gas station. That wouldnt be u and your friends would it, or are u just strickly cruising? I'm also one of those guys who dont really hang with stangs. Buddie has a LT1 z28.

Hey all, just bought my '01 Cobra from my best friend in November, I live in Beverly Hills. Plannin' on a 4.10 in march or so and some Cobra R's. Got some Blizzak WS-50's on right now that are actually getting my lowered baby around just beautifully in the snow. I'll have to venture out to some of you folks for some competition, around Birminghan area most idiots are ricers, but they all wanna race a Cobra so it's fun, haven't lost yet, haha. Everyone keep in touch, it's gonna take a team effort to avoid Michigan's potholes!

Meeting place for detroit area stangers.....

Whats up guys? Im just checkin in, im from Southfield.

There are always a big turn out with stangs down on Telegraph and Joy rd. at the Joe Randazzo's (sp?). Its right behind the rally's.

All you guys should come down once this weather gets outta here.

EVERY FRIDAY AND SATURDAY NIGHT AT ABOUT 10 or 11pm.

Guess what fella's decided on new muff's. Currently running 40 series slowmasters. Now about to be bought with visa SPinTeCh Pro StReeTS along with thier best friends Bbk LT's. You michigan folks will here me for sure this year at wot. He! he! I love aftermarket.

Thats us. Mine is the Performance red convertible with the black top. We hang out there pretty much all weekend. One of the guys in our group knows the owner of the pizza shop so we frequent his place. They have awesome pizza too!

Ive got flowmasters on my car with a bassani offroad X. That sucker is SUPER loud. I rumbles even at idle with stock cams. Well have to have a contest some time to see whos loudest!

You're talking to me right, but yeah we will have to see who's loudest. My buddie has or should I say will have jet hot LT's with o/r and hooker catback. He'll be bringing noise as well. But back to the pizziera I always wondered if those guys were on stangnet but never asked b/c its always at least 4-5 nice looking stangs. I remember a couple of saleens being up there also one day. Next time I'm cruising I'll stop and introduced my self as Jo with a 88 5.0 black w/red int. lets keep this tread up top and represent for the Michigan foxbodies

Count me in! My longtubes are currently in the process of being installed. I have an offroad h-pipe and two chamber flows dumped before the axle. Sounds pretty mean at idle!
