Detroit rocker cams/emissions legal?

Has anyone with these brenspeed cams taken their car through emissions yet?
I understand each test may be different and im not trying to get that specific. just wondering anyone's experience. Chandler at brenspeed is not 100% sure of this question. Im thinking because the vct is not effected they may be OK

When I had my 1990 LX 5.0 It had the B303 cam which wasn't SMOG legal. It passed the California SMOG test every two years (had car for 9 years)without problems. I don't think the Detroit Rockers are as aggressive as the B303 were...then again your talking about a S197 3V motor...I think it should pass.

Is it a sniff test or an OBDII plug in test? If it's the latter it should be good as long as all the sensors are still enabled and no CELs.

That is a good point, it is just a OBD2 test so having all sensors working should tell them its good to go.
