diablo custom tuner?

hey guys. i recently purchased a diablosport tuner and im not sure how far to advance the timing on it? and how to far i should adjust the shift pressure and shift points and what does the torque modulation do? should i leave it at stock or turn it off? ive tried to change it around and guess it here and there but it still seems a bit slower than when i just had a superchip in it. its a 2002 mustang gt with an automatic, c&l plenum and maf, 75mm tb, plasmaboost ignition amplifier. pa 200 amp alternator, underdrive pulleys, a magnaflow x pipe and 2chamber flowmasters.

It's probably running lean with the performance mods you have. I would add fuel and not advance the timing yet until you can get in a dyno run to check your A/F ratio. Torque modulation allows for smooth transitions between gears; I recommend turning it off. I don't have an automatic so I don't know in what increments the Predator adjusts shift points, but if possible I would try raising them 200 rpm at a time until you get them just under the max powerband for your car.

Increasing transmission performance means you need to install a tranny cooler. Install it before you start changing your tranny settings, for $49 its cheap insurance and trannys ARE very expensive...

Many Predator owners have the timing max'ed out to +10%.

Set your shift pressure to your liking. Too high and it kicks too hard. Too low and it feels like stock.

Torque modulation at the stock setting pulls back on the timing to reduce the torque during the shift to make a granny-friendly shift. Set it to 100% and it won't reduce your torque during the shift. I left the shift points alone. See my sig.

oh yea i have a b&m tranny cooler already, i forgot to mention that. and thanks for the info on the torque modulator and wot gas level.
