What type of gas would you need with a diablo predator(on their website they mention to uses octane 93 but maybe I'm looking at the wrong thing?)? Does anyone have this and do they recomend it? I plan on changing the gears to a 4.10 and getting dual side exhausts. I believe that I would need one because of the gears, right?

91+ if you tune it with a performance tune... yes you would need a programmer, chip or a speed cal to fix the speedo.

Damn it, I know I'll like but I don't want to pay the money for the octane 93. Do I actually have to tune it when I switch gears? What happens if I just use 87?

That's Dammit, not Damn it

You do not actually have to tune it when you switch gears. If you do tune it (reflash your car's computer with the performance tune pre-loaded on the Predator that is) and run 87 octane you will likey cause engine damage.

However, Predator revision r50d allows the user to modify the factory tune in all of the same ways as the pre-loaded performance tune so you can still use 87 octane gasoline if you so choose.

Yeah, but if you're gonna pay the money for a performance chip, what's the point of that? I say re-tune for performance, suck it up, and pay the extra 20 cents a gallon.

DAMMIT don't you know how to read the manual DAMMIT or just know this stuff DAMMIT!

you can fix axle ratios with the predator. If you do the performance tune you have to use 93 octane, unless you import a custom tune. You can also adjust your paramaters, meening that you can change certain settings in your car. EX: WOT fuel table, add more fuel or take some away, advance spark or retard spark, adjust you fan settings, when done right those things will make a difference.

Revision r50d allows me to adjust all parameters on the factory tune without having to import a custom tune. I assume (maybe incorrectly) that it could do the same with a '03 V6 factory tune.
