that is why the set point are lower. If you don't change you thermostat though the fan are proably going to run more.
what is the stock thermostat vs the diablo setting?
I mean the people at diablo most likely did this for a reason so I would look into changing the thermostat vs changing the temps but that is me.

Edit: for comparison the factory was nothing on until 216 so I still stay cooler than the Factory settings but it doesn't stay on all the time.
hotrodnut said:Yes, but their's is a general tune that is for the whole country and it is supposed to be with a stock thermostat, 180 for the Mach1 and 190 for the GT. That means it will never go below those temperatures. They set the fans to go off in the 180's so unless you are going down the road on a cool day the temps will not go below that and your fan will run constantly. In Florida that does not work, so before changing anything I discussed it with Diablosport. I told them the fans never go off after turning on with their settings in the Summer and I wanted to change mine and my Son's to never go over the 208 mark and shut off at 200. That is well below the temps from the Factory settings from Ford. The Factories will allow the Mustangs to run in the 220 range up to near 230 while in traffic before the high speed fan comes on. My Son or I have never had any detonation from running those settings, after all the timing that is put into the Diablo tune isn't that much more than stock. Give them a call and see what they suggest for your situation. But if your fans stay on constantly like mine did, the life cycle for them will be cut dramaticly.
Some of the original Diablo sports did come with a 180 degree thermostat but they stopped doing that for the need was not there with their basic tune as I was told.
