Probably the best all Diablo forum on the net - http://www.modularfords.com/forums/f69/

Also, for what it's worth, I simply adv the spark all the way (10%) but I leave the fuel alone.

+1 on full spark advance. Just make sure your running good gas. It was a noticeable bump when I did mine.

My car is running pretty damn rich, though I don't know how much I should lean it out with the fuel trims.

I wish there were a page that gave basic info such as what a basic modded car should be in the sparkavd/fueltrim/etc while viewing the datalog. I don't know what half the things are

My car pinged like a mother in 4th gear at the track with the timing bumped 5*

DO NOT JUST FULLY ADVANCE THE TIMING!!! If you dont have a keen ear to notice detonation or pinging, you running a big risk of kissing your engine goodbye if thats too much timing for it. Each car will respond different.

If you know what your listening for advance it a few degrees at a time before going all the way out. I also added a little fuel to mine because I dont want to take a chance on running lean.

i say go balls to the wall and advance her all the way in both rpm ranges. thats what i did and no pinging what so ever. Make sure ur getting good fuel and its 93 octane. but yes i agree still listen for pinging and if u hear any back it down a little bit at a time till it goes away. and if you dotn know yet when u advance ur timing thats for WOT only.

Burningrubber, don't forget that bumping that is in percentages, not actual degrees

I have my current settings with 10% on the spark and it seems to do fine for me, even in this hot weather. Just be smart about it and run the 93 and buy from Shell/Chevron or similar.
