See Sig for mod list...

So I have the money now to finally get a tuner, only thing is I have absolutely zero experiance/knowledge when it comes to the computer side of things...

I am wanting to know what you guys think as far as what brand and/or model to get. There are no dyno's where I live so I am going to have to go with a generic tune. I am wanting to be able to fix my speedo so that I dont keep racking up so many "Fake" miles, and I live in california so the best gas we can get is 91 octane. With those things in mind what will be my best route for hp gains? Or should I buy a chip? Or maybe there is another company that can custom burn a tune for me? Any info would be great as I am from the old school before computers...

+1 for the SCT. I got 20 rwhp on premium tune so you wont be able to get that much but still maybe 15 rwhp.

Good Luck

I have the Predator. I think it's great for the new user. It's all self contained and is pretty straightforward to use. It is a mature product and has gone past it's early stages. But if I were to buy a handheld tuner now, I'd go with the Xcal2. It offers more auto transmission parameters for adjusting but it is a relatively new product. It is still going through a few updates here and there. The good thing is you can later upgrade to the pro level package if you think tuning is for you. The Predator doesn't have that future upgrade option.

the SCT hands down. the Predator doesn't have the upgradability of the SCT and i don't think it's datalogger is as advanced. not from what i've seen anyway.
