Just about the only thing I hate about my 92 drop is the seats. Well the head rests. I love the gigantic headrests in my 88. But in my 92 drop I have the electric seats. If possible I want to get some 88 electric seats go have them wrapped in black leather and put them into my 92. But I have yet to see a 88 with electric seats. And if it does exist does anyone know if it would be compatible (bolt in) with my existing setup?

I thought '93 was the only year for an automatic (adjusting) seats.

Only option on any of my '89, '90, '88, '87 or '93 ever was the electric lumbar support.

I cant remember correctly, but I THINK i read somewhere about someone switching headrests because they didn't like the 90+ either. I'll try to find it...

It was actually people putting halo headrests in their cars...They take out their existing headrests and just slide in their new ones. I'm pretty sure it would work in your case, its just not a popular swap. 87-93 seats are all the same, just the headrests changd in 90.

Here's how to remove the headrests:

The headrests will interchange fine. It's just a matter of finding the same exact color.

There were 3 different shades of gray, so it's tough to match. 90-92 and 93 do not match the 87-89 shade

check your fuses and maybe check the connections under the seat and maybe the motor.
