did a search, what is optimal comp ratio for blower? 8-10psi

I need to know this, i'm trying to get all my parts lined up.
Would 8.6/8.7:1 be too high of compression if i plan on 450rwhp? out of an s trim?

NO I would say anything up to 9.5:1 would be good...

I want to run pump gas, so im thinking 8.3/8.4:1 with 10 psi of boost, should be about right for pump gas.

We were running 9.5:1 on cast GT ro head, 10psi combo that made 465/425 to the wheels, pump gas, 36# inj, No FMU, 255 hi pressure pump, ATI inline.

Personally there is no reason to go 8.5:1 on your combo unless you plan to push 20psi, I'd go 9:1.

cant argue with that^^^^^^^^^^ i am gonna run stock compression with some dss pro pistons and either afr185's or thumper heads......i would like to see low to mid 500's with my combo.
