I was driving on the road today, and I had a cop behind me at a light, so I turned my whole system off.(Turning the deck off) I had it on before that, hitting hard as hell, The volume was at 14, and I've had it to 17 and no problems. The sub is a S12L7 kicker 1500 peak, 750 RMS. The amp is a MA Audio Hard Kore 1000 watt RMS class D amp. When I went to turn the system back on, the deck came on, the amp didn't. I went out back, checked connections, they're fine, but I don't even have power going to the amp. The power light isn't on, and the protect light isn't on.

Did I blow my amp? Or would a fuse blow before that?

the fuse should always blow before the amp, I don't see how turning the radio off would blow a fuse though

regardless, check your power line fuse first, then the one on your amp (if it has one). If that still isn't working use a tester to be sure your turn on line has voltage.

Definitely check the fuse running from your battery and the fuse on your amp if any.

yeah there is also an internal fuse in the amp and it sounds like your remote wire sent too much juice to the amp while turing it back on, your probably just need to replace that fuse should be accesable from the outside, use a volt meter to make sure that your issues are not anywhere else

How does one go about testing the battery fuse? cut into the wire after the fuse, and use a test light? The other fuses, I have 2 30's on the outside of the amp... I'll check those out too.

Anything else?

Do you have a inline fuse????You can either check it visually or just check it with a test light,no need to cut any wires.

Yeah, the fuse is inline about 7" from the battery. It looks fine, not chared. Well I guess I'll test the power wire when I get home.

turn the stereo on,use the test light and check power at the amp, both the turn on and main power and fuses.
