did i fry my cobra's computer?

help me diagnose this. my car will turn over and wants to start but wont start. it has fuel, and spark. all the fuses are good. but it just wont start. now let me tell you how this happened. i pulled of my temp sensor and i was trying to see if i could ground it out to see if i could get my fan to kick on. while doing this i accidentally touched the wire going from the sensor to the positive side of the battery and making a small spark, after realizing that it wasnt goin to turn the fans on, i put everything back together and went to start up my car and got the problem above. so i have tried everything i can think of. you got any ideas? also if it would be easy to talk just call me so i can explain it, (559) 977-6063

i had the same problem! i just got my car back yesterday from the shop. we figured it out. long story short somehow i managed to fry my ecm/pcu/computer in my car. it also fried the tps sensor and it was reading at huge!! volts. almost full throttle. so it was dumping gas into my engine which caused my spark plugs to get soaked in gas. so i replaced the tps and then the plugs. and sure enough it started! BUT it wouldnt idle would only run around 2500 rpm. and sputtered and spewed and just hated running. also the temp sensor was reading -16C then a second later +80C. and all my sensors were off. this whole time never throwing "a code" so i replaced the computer and it runs like a charm!
