Ok, today i welded in a pair of subrames on my 89 coupe but didn't disconnect the battery, was this bad? after they were in, i backed it out of the barn and it was running normal, so i proceeded to fix a vacuum leak i had. after that i decided to go on a little test drive. Well......i only made it a about a quarter mile. it died and wouldn't restart. So of course i think "gas" so i put 5 gallons in it, still didn't start. cranks over fine but doesn't even try to fire. So then i think "spark". pull the plugs, they're wet, so i replace all 8, doesn't start. I have power to the coil (checked it with test light) If there is power going to the coil, should i get power on the output? I don't have power on the output, so i put in a 4cyl.coil i had layin around, didn't help. Do i have a bad coil? bad computer? something else? HELP ME. tomorrow i'll buy a new cap and rotor. any other suggestions?
this sux.
