Hey guys, i bought a Pro 5.0 power tower shifter from AmericanMuscle.com and i went to install it today, and the bolt holes on the one side arent even close to being in the right spot. SO my question is, is there a difference in shifter designs between all the diff year T-5s? I thought they were all the same. I think i may have gotten a bad shifter. Im going to call AM tomorrow, but for right now, im pissed off, i got all pumped up to try out this shifter, and i had to put the stocker back on. The box says its for a T-5/T-45.
Not even close to the edge

Beside the stocker

WRONG, a bolt doesnt even sit flush in this hole, its too close to the "tower"

Those holes are definitely drilled wrong for a T-5. Either you got a bad one, or one for a different application.

I'm sorry...but that cracked me up at how bad off that is! You would think they would've caught that on the line or something. I thought their quality control was pretty good, but I guess every now and then something slips through...

I called AM earlier today, they re-directed me to PRO5.0, and the guy there said they had a run of bad bases, which they caught right away, but, they also had a new guy boxing them up, and he sent all of the WRONG bases out the door, leaving a nice pile of good ones. So they are sending me a new shifter and taking the old one back. Works out in the end, except that i have to wait, and i hate waiting for parts!LOL
