Mods I have are in sig. Is there anything else basic bolt on wise that I'm missing or that I should have before I get to the Longtubes/4.10s/tune/cams/nitrous stage? Cause it seems like all I have left to do now is expensive stuff and it's kinda depressing

Looks like its time to drop some major cash and start doing some in depth mods (LT's, Nitrous, etc)

Welcome to the world of Modular Mustangs.....where pretty much none of the basic bolt ons you buy don't come with an additional two zero's at the end of the price tag. You could toss in a K&N for good measure, but otherwise....get ready to start spending.

I'd go with a DeMolet CAI, and a Predator. After that, you're laying down some coin.

Skip just the dropin k&n that a lot of people recommend as everytime we back-to-back dyno test it versus a stock filter it adds nothing, but does take away from your wallet.

Dude, judging from your track time and trap speed. The best mod you could do is free. Practice. All i have is a tri-ax shifter, some weld in flows (otherwise stock exhaust), 3.73s and a K&N filter.
My qtr mile time is 14.06@98 with a 2.0 60ft. With your mods you should be well into the 13s. Get some track time dude, and make use of what you have already before you start spending more money.

Well, that's one opinion. I just finished reading one of my old back issues of MM&FF where a bone stock '00 GT was dyno'd with a nothing more done to the car than a K&N drop-in and it gained 3rwhp and 3rwtq. Now....you add that to the other big breathing bolt-ons on both ends that iwannarace67 has already got on his car and the numbers are going to do nothing but climb after that. It definitely makes it worth the money in my eyes.....if not from a better filtration aspect alone.

I agree with that... same day, same track testing a K&N Replacement filter was worth .10 and 1 MPH on my car.

A dyno tune would be good. My headers were only 270 bucks. If you can install them yourself it'd be cheap.

I think a SCT tune will wake it up. The Xcal2 is great.

Same thing happened to me just today. Pulleys were actually the last thing I did. Does anybody know where I can get a "buy one get one free" deal on cams and headers?

i would get a programmer like the sct 2 and a K+N drop in

the stock tune on these cars is very conservative. the programmer will make a difference. and will come in handy when you get 4.10's

CAI, Timing Adjuster, Tune

How about Rear End Gears? Maybe Stage 1 Cams? They are only $500 + labor
