Back when I first go my car I painted the interior trim pieces with that chrome allusion stuff from wal-mart. I finally got completely sick of that so I repainted it all Laser Red and Charcoal mettalic. I think it turned out awesome. :)

Next on the interior to-do list is floor mats and seats, but that will probably be next summer.

My mom painted the horse on the steering wheel and the Mustang lettering with a brush(she's an artist so she's really good at things like that). It's Laser Red paint without clear, so it looks a little different than the rest of the car.

I will also add that Laser Red paint is friggin expensive!! My friend must get a HUGE discount because he used 2 or 3 pints to paint my engine bay and only charged me $100....I bought the exact same paint at the exact same store and it cost me $109 for one pint! stprorolla, now I see why you went with Redfire!

exactly...it was like $300 for a gallon as it is...

I was afraid it would be too much color, that's why I did it two-toned. It is a little brighter than I would have liked, but it looks soooooooo much better than before.

:nice:

All you guys and your spirited interiors. I'm trying to make mine all black and you're adding color.

It does make it nice and personalized. :nice:

That's exactly what I want to do with my interior. How'd you get around the a/c vent in the center piece? Looks very nice.

I taped off the a/c vents and sprayed the red, then I removed the tape from the vents and taped off everything that I wanted to stay red and sprayed the charcoal color. Then I removed all the tape and sprayed the clear.
