I bought a wrecked 2007 gt with 4.6 with automatic ,did they come with a 5 speed automatic like i was told ,and if so what is the code?

Yes, the mostly good and very upgradeable 5R55S.

Pulled this off the Cars.com research.

Ford's 4.0-liter V-6 produces 210 horsepower. A 4.6-liter all-aluminum V-8 in the GT pumps out 300 hp and 320 pounds-feet of torque. Both engines run on regular gasoline and work with either a five-speed manual transmission or an optional five-speed automatic.

Yes, 5R55S is the trans. Pretty decent....better than the 4R70W it replace and will handle a moderate amount of horsepower.
