sounds like ****. one of the ends of the pipes were bent from shipping or something else so there is a really really bad exhaust leak right before the mufflers. It sounds like open headers on the driver side. I tried to straighten out the bend as best as I could but the leak is still rediculous. Any thoughts on how to fix the leak???? or should I send it back. I really just want to fix it because it was a pain in the ass to put on and I dont want to do it all over again to send it back then reinstall. Opinions!!!

You could take it to a muffler shop and see what they could do for you. But, I agree with mustangkid, I'd probably send it back.

Could you post pics perhaps? Anything a large metal pry bar couldn't fix? Heat it up real nice and see if that softens it up to bend it easier? I dunno....

I bent it back with pliers. Im gonna see if a muffler shop can do anything. maybe ill ghetto rig it with some padding or something.

It looked as if it was dropped and that part was bent inwards so that to opening was a lot small than it should be.

I would either:
1 - Heat it with a torch and work it back into place.
2 - Take it to a muffler shop, and have them fix it..They have machines that will widen pipes, and such..
I wouldnt bother sending it back.

Gotcha. Id take it to a shop and have them bend it back. Shouldnt be anything more than heating it up and applying some pressure. However, if you want to send it back and get a new one they should honor that and send out a new one.
