Die cast fox coupe?

GMP (now 'Acme Trading Co.' ACME Trading Co - Diecast Car Replicas; Muscle Cars, Sprint Cars, Dirt Cars, Road Racing Cars, Vintage Dirt Cars and Dragsters; plus Fender Guitar Replicas and World War II Military Aircraft Replicas) is the company that made them as well as other Fox Body models. Most if not all of them sell out from the company rather quickly, and you're left to buy them from distributors or private parties who either bought them to resell or are selling their collections.

The model you linked to is one of the earlier models, and is pretty tough to find. As mentioned above, ebay is your best bet to nab one of these.

GMP foxes where a deal for the most part a few years ago. I have 20 of them and most I got for under $60. I have the red coupe but sadly all the GMP fox cars are out of production and the prices have sky rocketed. I have a teal cobra, paid around $70, now they get into bidding wars and go for close to and over $200. There are GMPs on ebay now all over $100 including 3 of the red coupes starting @ $110 and one for $170 . but it's down to supply and demand. I'll be holding onto mine for sure now.

As with most things, prices on ebay go up and down. A couple months ago I put my '87 coupe up for sale and someone bought it for $140. I've seen at least 3 go for under $100 since then  Also sold a BROKEN gray '92 GT for $130 and have seen them going mint for under $100. I must be good :rlaugh:

With the profit gained from those and a few other rarities I had, I just bought other models and expanded my collection.

Teal Cobras are definitely the hot ticket, I wouldn't even consider selling mine for $200 unless I was selling my entire collection.

It's definitely not your run of the mill diecast model, though, nor for the "average" collector. I remember when I started collecting, I was iffy on spending $40-50 for the original Fox coupe, as before that I only had a couple models in total and they were all the cheap $20 ones. Now I drop $100 each without batting an eye. For better or worse, you get use to it :rlaugh:

That one you posted is a rare find, if you can find one on the low side of $100 you should nab it ASAP. I've seen them go for nearly $200 often. By the way, it's called the "Ground Pounder", so you might want to use that in your searches to help find one.

i have about 50+ model cars of all kinds and the most i paid was like 70 bucks. I've looked for foxes but there always in the 100's and i'll never pay that for a model. But i saw one on ebay, it was called a "stalker" and a 347 under the hood lol, thing looked sooo sick.
