ive been thinking lately, well more of exagerating. but would it be possible to put say a powerstroke diesel in say a fox mustang? i know with money anything is possible. but would it physically be to big to put in there. or maybe a v8 duramax!!! i just think it would be cool as hell to do this. 500 horsepower and 1100 ftlbs of torque would be cool!

yeah, how sick would that be! think about it, you'd have (like you said) a 500hp and 1100lbtq monster that gets 25mpg and only needs a rebuild every 400k! daddy likes!

25 MPG? You smoking crack boy!! My 7.3 makes ONLY around 300/600 and gets like 14 MPG. Im sure it would be more in a smaller vehicle, but not even close to 25.

i was honestly thinking of swaping out a Jetta TDI front transaxel diesel into a 4cyl coupe. It would get about 40 mpg. But then I got lazy and havn't persued it since. its a great idea though

Ooh! Ooh! I know! I know! *waves hand excitedly*

The '84-'85 Lincoln Mark VII came with a diesel option. If you find one nowadays, they're considered, like, gold for some reason. Not that they were fast, powerful, and/or economical in any way at all, but just because they're so extremely rare.

So ... do I get a cookie? :D

Damn tony quit hotrodding that damn thing, when I drive my neighbors truck I get 19 in the city.

edit:7.3L turbo diesel 250 BTW
