exactly what amount of fluid do u add to your t45 tranny? can u pour it through where ur shifter bolts on? or does it have to go in through the fill plug? and the rear8.8 fluid.. can u use 75w-90 with adding friction modifier or does it have to be the 75-190 wt oil? i cant find a solid answer to either of them. anyone know:shrug:

Although some people will tell you not to use it  75W90 is fine, but you'll need to use the friction additive.

Just buy yourself some 75w90 Royal Purple. It already has the limited slip additive in it. :nice: Just did mine 2 days ago. 2 1/2 quarts BTW!

As far as the T-45 goes? Never owned one with a T-45.

T-45 takes a little over 3 qts for the tranny, so buy 4. You can fill through the shifter(if you want to take it off and re-seal) or through the fill hole.

8.8 takes a little under 2 quarts with the stock girdle. Just use Royal Purple 75w140 since it already has the friction modifier in it. You won't get 2 quarts in there unless you waste some. Up to the fill hole.
