diff between a cobra and a GT?

whats the diff between a cobra and a GT?
i have a 1990 mustang that has a cobra sticker on the hatchback but it has 4 wheel discs so is it a cobra or a GT? some americans said in canada there is no such thing asa fox bodied cobra.

They didn;t make any REAL cobra's from 87-92, so no your car isn;t a real cobra its a gt with a cobra sticker. For some strange reason ford put cobra stickers on the hatch, my car has the cobra sticker as well and it's an 87 gt. You can tell the difference between an 93 cobra verses a 87-92 gt pretty easily. By the cobra intake, cobra bumper, cobra rims, cobra grill insert, 5 lug rotors, 4 wheel disc's as well im guessing.

IF you have 4 wheel disc's consider yourself lucky that the person before you decided to do the swap, I would like to get rid of my drums and do a swap to disc brakes...but ahhh to much time money and effort

I used to have a Ford dealer brochure for 86 Mustangs and the GT's were called Cobras in there but they are the same as the regular GT's in the U.S.

All GT's in Canada from 87-92 were called "Cobra"s. The real 93 Cobra was not sold up here and Ford finally stopped putting the stickers on the Canadian cars.
