They probably just confused pints with quarts which would mean they put twice as much in as required since there are two pints in one quart...

No confusion, they charged $20 a quart. the p/n's are quarts.

I would mention reporting them to the DMV, the next time you talk to the manager. I bet he will side with you and admit to the mistake. The DMV is the BBB for dealers.

Also, if they over fill the rear end it can cause the seal to blow from excess pressure and your breather should definately be spewing out excess. They may have charged you for more then they used. Check to see if you are bleeding out the extra.
