I've got posi traction!.? does this come stock on a 92 Gt?, also Should I modifie anything else in the diff since I'm putting 3.73 gears?..motor/tranny are stock.
Yes. I'd change the clutch packs as well, pinion seal, axle bearings and seals as well since the axle shafts will be out and look the carrier bearings and pinion bearings too. Don't forget about the speedo gear!
I don't need a rebuild. I have posi traction...Is this called trac lock as well? Both back wheels spin in the same direction at the same time. Does installing 3.73 gears make it hard on the stock diff and would it cause it so break? My gears came with some bushings, is this all I need to do a good job? Thanks guys!
no, mines a stock well rebuilt trak lok setup with 3.73's.. let me warn you tho... first gear is a granny gear.. dont expect anything but burnouts from that gear with 3.73's lol
