what is the differance in the flex lite and proform fans i know the proform fans and about 150 and flex lite 250 to 290 they both look the same. i broke my flexlite fan and tried just hooking it up power and neg to battery to see if it would turn on but nothing. i think it would cost alot to fix maybe blown motor on fried a computer circuit. so witch one is better

Flex-A-Lite makes everything in the USA and designs, manufactures, and offers tech support for all their products.
Proform rips off their and other manufacturers designs, manufacturers the copycat products overseas, and doesn't offer any tech support that I am aware of.

Proform seems to be the same exact thing and everyone that I've talked to that's bought a flexalite says they can kick themselves for not having bought the same one from proform cheaper. I went and bought the proform.....or you can always do the lincoln mark VII (i believe) fan thing.

I had the Black tragic fan-Hated it, Profoprm version for free-It sucked, hated it, Proform ****ft light, broke in 2 weeks.
I got myself a MKVIII fan-happy as can be, and a summit shift light for 1/2 price-happy camper!

Right! hahahahah im amazed at how compnaies such as flex-a-lite and proform can even make a fan for our cars-and they barely cool a stock 5.0L with no mods. Put the A/C on in traffic for any amount of time-and watch that needle climb and never stop. hahahaha been there, done that!!!!! Its like-WTF were they thinking! and then come out with a newer version with much improved air flow design hahahahaha It flows 3300cfm another joke. If you compare the MKVIII fan which flows 4100CFM-You can ever compare the 2.
i was shocked at how quickly the profrom shift light broke, Pure Junk!!!! i wouldnt recommend anyone buy **** from them until they imprive the quality of there prducts.
